He brings strong nonprofit leadership experience, having previously served as&nbsp;executive&nbsp;director and&nbsp;chief&nbsp;development&nbsp;officer at The Chalmers Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and as&nbsp;executive&nbsp;director of Third Millennium Ministries. Before joining Carolina Law, she served as&nbsp;director of&nbsp;development for the School of Business at North Carolina Central University, where she secured more than $1.2 million in philanthropic support within her first eight months and&nbsp;established&nbsp;eight new endowments. Before joining\u00a0Carolina Law, he led\u00a0alumni\u00a0engagement strategy at NYU Wagner and managed events and volunteer boards at NYU Stern. His diverse background also includes working at an anti-hunger nonprofit, fostering public-private partnerships for New\u00a0York\u00a0City\u00a0Parks\u00a0and teaching high school in Japan. She earned her bachelor&#8217;s&nbsp;in English &amp; Comparative Literature from UNC-Chapel Hill with a concentration in writing, editing,&nbsp;and digital publishing. She previously served as&nbsp;co-director and&nbsp;managing&nbsp;attorney with Legal Aid of North Carolina&#8217;s Fair Housing Project, where she&nbsp;represented&nbsp;victims of housing discrimination in administrative proceedings and state and federal court. Before joining Carolina Law, she served as&nbsp;community&nbsp;systems&nbsp;manager at OASIS Inc. in Avery and Watauga Counties. She came to Carolina Law from UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she worked in genomics research and administrative operations.
