Dear Friends, Fall 2024 is upon us here in Chapel Hill after a few false starts to the season that kept us unseasonably warm. There is also renewed energy and a hum of excitement permeating Van Hecke-Wettach's halls.
“Unjust Debts” explores how an expansive interpretation of the national bankruptcy power unduly encroaches on other laws and policies and calls for a more limited and effective bankruptcy system going forward.
Surrounded by family and friends, 211 graduates received their Juris Doctor degrees.
The University of North Carolina School of Law's Supreme Court Program has received the distinguished Amicus Service Award from the International Municipal Lawyers Association (IMLA) for its work on the Groff v. Dejoy case.
